Women, like me, who experience early menopause, also known as premature ovarian insufficiency or premature menopause, can often find relief through the use of oestrogen patches. These patches provide a controlled dose of oestrogen through the skin, helping to alleviate symptoms associated with hormonal imbalance. Oestrogen is a crucial hormone that regulates the menstrual cycle, supports various bodily functions, and maintains bone health. When the ovaries stop producing enough oestrogen, women may experience hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood swings, and sleep disturbances. I definitely did!

Oestrogen patches are one form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that can help manage the symptoms of early menopause. It is important to acknowledge that this is NOT the only source of oestrogen that women can take! Oestrogen comes in many forms and should be taken with progesterone (if you have a womb).
